Sailing in Green Bay outside the mouth of Sturgeon Bay.

Sailing in Green Bay outside the mouth of Sturgeon Bay.

EXPLORE

As a boy my father took my brothers, sister and I  sailing  all over Sturgeon Bay and Door County. We all knew how to sail, we all raced and we all loved to sail thanks to my father. Of all the countless sails around Sturgeon Bay, not one sail was the same as another. There is always a different wind with a different light, different company, a different mood and a different time of year. It is all wonderful. And now after many years away with many experiences under my belt        I have returned with "Charlie", named after my great niece            "Charlie Kate" born shortly before the boat entered the picture.

Charlie is a Bristol 40 Built in 1981. She has classic lines and sails beautifully. It is my aim to share those gorgeous sails with as many people as I can, to take you away in Sturgeon Bay or up and down beautiful Door County.
